The Buoyant Girl
When she was ought
To run that extra mile
And give her best,
She was in her thought,
Miles behind the rest!
She knew it still that
If she's out of her thought
No doubt, her pace
Would be hard to chase!
All she needed was
A rope of action
To align her thinking.
But her thoughts seemed
Like a mire,
Getting out of which,
She was tired!
Even water is a quagmire
When you can't swim - she thought!
Not letting another thought inhabit
A buoyant girl rose up from nagging thoughts!
She got up and ran those miles,
Giving her best and
Threatening the rest!
