HOPE
Lonely I sat everyday,
Lonely, Oh very lonely!
Firmly staring from my
Empty classroom's window pane
In hope of a friend,
A true friend coming my way
To encounter my bane.
The karmic cycle, I think, is too slow
To revert me back cordial friendship,
But my patience is not too low
To revert it desperation so soon,
And that's why, you know:
I'm still in hope,
In hope of that true friend
Who one day will definitely
Come across my window pane
And waive my bane.
