From the excuses you made to the
headache like a flu,
ambivalence has come
(I don't think I'll forget you.)
Months turn to years
and I'm still pretty blue.
The pain has made me numb
(I don't think I'll forget you.)
Dedicated time made me feel
worth it,
beautiful, that too.
Dealing with it hurt the most
(I don't think I'll forget you.)
Time has passed,
my patience is what you knew,
and of course I still have that
sliver of hope
(I know I'll never forget you.)
