Mourning
I visited you today
Beside your grave I stood
Still in complete disbelief
That you're really gone for good
While the tears streamed down my face
I couldn't help but wonder how
It's said you're in a "better place"
When all we have is now
It has not been long
Since your blunt depart
Your impact on my life, so strong
Cannot bear this heavy heart
If you were here you would make fun
Of how much I have mourned
It's made me angry, sad, and stunned
My inner self is torn
I already miss you dearly
My grief I cannot hide
I love you so sincerely
And wish there's peace where you reside.
