My silence is loud
Louder than you think
It's more powerful than my words
Spoken or written in black ink
It holds my pain
The screams you never heard
It catches my tears
The ones I've hidden from the world
Most don't understand it
They think I'm just tired or shy
But that's because they don't know
The truth that is kept inside
If only they knew
Maybe then they could see
My silence is loud
Louder than you think
