Careless warrior, Jealous warrior

Careless warrior, jealous warrior.

The enemy is cruel,
Yet the careless warrior knew.
Disruption would commence;
The start of the end.

The jealous warrior from afar,
Not knowing it at all.
The enemy was danger,
barely known; a stranger.

As time flew by,
The enemy was sly.
Careless warrior held
The hurt up ahead.

The jealous warrior caught,
the Careless warrior in a not.
The enemy was content,
that the jealous warrior was dent.

Carless has he was named,
never took the blame.
Jealous as she was placed,
died in pain.

The author's comments:

This poem is inspired by the action of cheating. As we all get older and interested in falling in love, some of us get hurt. The three characters are basically, the boyfriend/husband, the girlfriend/wife, and the person that wedged the couple apart.

Some of it is also based on divorce. Readers who have divorced parents, specifically, if one parent cheated on the other; this poem truly explains how it feels and how careless, and cruel some people in this world can be.

But I don't want people to think it's okay to cheat, I want people to look at this poem, let it sink into you and prevent you from cheating, or help you understand the situation.
