Cappy
He's my favorite teddy bear
So soft and cuddly to hold
When I come from school, he's a breath of air
His beautiful hair shines like gold
He fits just like a Yadi
Right into my loving arms
His love sends warmth through my body
He keeps me safe from harm
We snuggle together at midnight
And special moments in between
When I'm scared of the dark, he makes it alright
I hold him while I dream
One day he had to leave me
I could not sleep a wink
Living without my baby
Was worse than you could think
Now he's come home, sweet home
My brother brought him back
And now that he is here
I'm clinging like a tack
In the night when he falls out my bed
Instantaneously, I'm up
When my arms are empty of him, I feel dead
Like Jesus when He drank the cup
It may seem ridiculous or like stupidity
But it's not -really
Without my teddy I am incomplete
And oh so much more dilly
In the morning as I leave for school
I always say goodbye
And through the day I cannot wait
To come back and say hi
If you ever took my teddy bear
I would sit and cry
To live without a love so dear
I would rather die
