Hallow dreams
laying in bed quietly breathing
your eyes are open wide, what's this static you're receiving?
Your thoughts are tuning in and out
they're switching channels and swirling about
All at once, your body goes numb
your fingers are curled around your thumb
You close your eyes tight and feel drops down your chin
Your laying here wondering, "how did all this begin?"
Inhaling sharper than you usually do
You're realizing you're not the girl who once flew
Over treetops and mountains and waterfalls below
This is your last chance, you needed to know
Take some time away from the world and the stress
you still worry about your hair, your face and your dress
There are too many things filling your archive
Hallow dreams are the only thing keeping you alive
