You Have Stolen
Sometimes I lay awake at night,
Thinking of who and how you are.
You, the one who stole my heart, captured my thoughts, and keeps my eyes;
I cannot escape your spell, and will not try.
You have stolen my heart.
Sometimes I think in the early day;
Do you love me as my head and heart say?
You, the one who is beautiful, the one who is brave and good;
Do you think of me like I of you, I wish you would.
You have stolen my thoughts.
Sometimes in the noontime I stop and smile,
And wonder what you are doing all this while.
Do you stop and smile when I go by,
Or am I just another lady on my way?
You have stolen my smile.
Sometimes when there is a sunset sky,
I wonder if you have thought of me by and by.
Because now I have no more time for your love;
I am singing with the angels Above.
You have stolen my life.

I wrote this poem after watching "Romeo and Juliet" and wanted to paint the picture of ultimate dedication, but tragic death. I hope people understand to take life and love seriously after reading this, because you never know when it will be over.
