Dawn in Daylight
Snow lies untouched
Unfazed, childlike, new
Pure and simple
Yet a value held long by few
When the dawn passes
some snow may get dirty
its pureness now gone
its life ahead murky
Some snow may melt
moving on to another life
Into a cycle
filled with nothing but strife
As each and every snow
moves on to other days
it is forgotten
what should always stay
When all the snow is gone
and only one patch remains true
Seeking not what brought sorrow
that snow holds its hue
