Misidentified Unknowingly.
Life had been a temporary state of being for her,
Her heart was shattered into pieces that resembled broken glass,
Secluded all alone in this world, there she was,
There she stood underestimated by her peers on a daily basis.
Everytime she would look in the mirror
All she would see is a beast,
She found no beauty in herself,
And that’s what crushed her the most.
To everyone she was just “ that girl”,
No one had ever identified her by her name,
As time began to fly by she then began to believe,
That she had no importance or significance in this world.
Never had the opportunity to meet her biological father nor mother,
She had then been identified as something,
In this case she was just an “orphan”,
Poor Lisa, all she ever wanted to do was find out her true self.
As she began maturing into an adult,
She involved herself in the art of literature,
That had been the light she awed for,
When she had been surrounded in darkness.
There was peace now stored in her life,
And for the first time ever,
She began to feel amazing about herself.
Even if she was lost in the beginning of her days,
She found her true love and continued to strive for success.
