You're not my mom
You're not my dad
You dropped me here
Like I was trash
They call me names
make fun of me
You say you care
How could that be
I want my mom
I hate this place
I need her now
Her warm embrace
But shes not there
She never was
Shes out somewhere
Hopped up on drugs
I needed love
I needed care
But in its place
I got despair
So in my heart
where love should be
Is a gaping hole
For all to see

This is so true about me sometimes i feel like my parents arent really them. I know its not the point of the poem but..... idk im stuck

Hey :) Not sure if you remember me, I havent posted anything in a loooong time. But, this was SOOOO good. I absolutely loved every single thing about it! It gave me chills and I could definitely relate! Great job. -Taylor :)
