Miscarriage
You weren't planned,
you weren't expected
but please know you're never regretted
I wish I could've kissed you
and hugged you everyday,
but God decided I wasn't ready and took you far away.
Away from us, away from me
away from the boy I know you'd be.
Three months together, not nearly long enough
but the times we shared together,
made your mommy tough.
Yes I cry and scream and shout
anything I can do to get it out
The pain still fresh, the wounds still deep
At least I get to see you, but only in my sleep.
