Black Widow
The raining in the heavens, is as cold as the rain on her face
She can hide all that hurt so it's not brought back, gone without a trace
Born from the stress of how she loves the world with no return
All these things she can remember, forgotten as their burned
The suffering in the fires, is as hot as the passions in her heart
Something she never let go, held on to right from the very start
Chameleons may change their outlook just to be accepted by the rest
Maybe in a different shade of black she'd feel brighter than the sun
But I can see her fiberglass heart and I know she was truly blessed
The heart of a lion beating in her body, oh the beauty of the young
Black widow spins her web, trapping this girl inside a web of hurt
Feelings sheltered so that this little angel would feel like nothing more than dirt
But I know she is so beautiful, diamonds have their worth but she is my favorite pearl
She makes those butterflies in my stomach her eyes of a hurricane where my emotions whirl
Someday she'll find where she belongs but she must first find herself amongst the crowd
I have faith in this special girl, she has helped me feel so loved, she has made me so proud
