Dumb as Bricks
Dumb as bricks?
Wow that’s cool, you know I’m tryin’ don’t call me a fool.
I like how you tear me down when I’m just tryin’ to grow.
No love. No respect. Thanks a lot bro.
Yeah so I’m no brainiac but what else is new?
Call me a Maniac you do what you do.
But I keep goin’ like it kill me if I stop, not lookin’ back cya later pops.
Yeah so I’m not king or nothing and I’m cool to say so to,
But you think you are, and that makes you the fool.
You judge like supreme, and break down my dream.
Get in my face like you own the place.
And you call me a loser but I could care less,
Because I know my worst is better than your best.
Drag me down like lead shoes in water,
Just know you were an absolutely terrible father.
Your words hurt but I learned how to heal.
I’m no superman but I forgot how to feel.
So go ahead, throw your sticks.
But just know this wall I can fix.
But not you, you’re cold and hard.
I’m not sorry, you made you who you are.
I have a voice and I’m using it now.
Never again will you bring me down.
Dumb as bricks? Try breaking this.
