Redeption
What if I stood on top of the world?
Would you still scoff at me?
What if I saves the world from every evil?
Would you still be so snide?
What if I turned out to be God,
You know what?
I think that from your flashing eyes
I would still run off and hide
What if I finally did everything right
Would you still look at me with scorn?
If I gave my heart to everyone
And kept the freezing warm
Would you still judge me?
What if I asked the right questions
In all the right places?
Would you stop hating me for once and for all?
Or is your hate so deep
Like the pits of hell- as they are called
That nothing can redeem me
