A broken poem
Shattered like glass
Blown to pieces
Implodes like gas
A broken poem
Cries in despair
To read it's words
No one would dare
A broken poem
A bleeding heart
Words that tear
Your soul apart.
A lost message
Attempts to write
Faithfully
The soldier fights
But in the end
He dies alone
And his words
Are never known
A broken poem
A nameless poem
Is a poem that is better
Never known...

Wow. I love this SO much! "A broken poem/ Shattered like glass" I was looking through all the poems trying to find a specific one, but when I saw your first two lines, I had to backtrack. I'm glad I did. I seriously REALLY like this. Hope it makes it into the mag.
