Two Sides To Everything
The beauty of a rose,
The danger of a thorn,
The serenity sea,
The chaos of a storm,
Everything has two sides, two stories,
But what is the truth,
Because we tend to listen to the more exciting one, and brush off the boring,
But if we’d just open our ears, we’d hear the facts,
The sweetness of an apple,
The rotten core within,
The rush of a drink,
The hiding poison of the gin,
Instead of lying, and gossiping, and being interested with a pleasing story to our eyes,
Maybe we should take time to look behind the fabricated story telling,
Because if we did, we may just be surprised,
That the even the most seamless looking stories, are nothing but lies,
The lovely evening light,
The fiercely raging fire,
The perfect looking smile,
Of a secret keeping corpse.
