He strides through the night,
she dreams in the day.
He yearns to make it right,
she longs to find her way.
He lives in the past,
she breathes for later.
He knows it'll never last,
for now she's just a waiter.
They met at twilight,
a life altering advance.
It was love at first sight,
a beautiful chance.
Fairy tales are real,
life's filled with laughter,
oh how ideal.
Happily ever after.
