Through My Eyes
I saw it, I saw it with my own eyes
He shot him because he had no strength to survive
He took his last breath in his cold, darken blood
And fell from his paws in the black lifeless wood
I saw it, I saw it with my own eyes just the same
He shot him because he was losing his drug game
He fell like Hades army losing a battle in war
With his blood bleeding into my arms from his dying core
I saw it, I saw it with my own eyes
That young one was not one of the wise
He wondered away from his caring mother
Who was his lifelong protective cover
I saw it, I saw it with my own eyes just the same
For his death there was only one person to blame
His mom taught him the difference between wrong and right
But through it all he lost the fight
I saw it, I saw it with my own eyes
The shedding of the mother’s cries
The world was out to hunt these daring young men
And it may have seemed fun but there was no true win
