Breath To Die
Every heartfelt memory
Was washed away by the rain
Every hug and all the laughter
Are now replaced by pain
Your smile still haunts me
Every night in my dreams
It’s like we’re barely holding on
Falling apart at the seams
Your cold heart of denial
Rains blood on my parade
In my mind I see you
More and more each day
The agony of defeat
Follows me like a ghost
Forever you’ll be there
The one I want to hold
But I can’t tell you
Just walk away
Because I know that I
Will never be the same
Your unmistakeable beauty
Rushes to my side
Your memory hold me close
As I cry at night
Your voice it loves to watch me
As I lie awake
Wondering how to make you see
Wondering what to say
But none of this is real
These white walls are all a lie
And every time I inhale
It’s just another breath to die
So here I stand watching myself
Drown in my own tears
Too bad there’s nothing you can do
If only you were here
If only you were here,
To save me before I fall
But it’s not like you care
You don’t care at all
You’d rather watch me die
Than admit that you were wrong
But it’s okay, because I’m almost dead
Now it’s too late, for I’m too far gone
