Within my dreams you come and go
You sure know how to give a show
They always seem to end the same
Although I wish that they would change
You look at me with hate and might
I stare at you wide-eyed with fright
I dream of us, we meet an end
I try to look around the bend
Beneath the lies I see you there
I look about for our old flare
I don’t know what is going on
I fly awake, suppress a yawn
I hear the rapid beating of
My heart that lives with lack of love
