Window stares
I sit at the window and stare
Thinking of the memories we share
The pain we tell in our eyes
The sound of faint cries
The way your voice says hi
Like a forgotten secrecy
I forget the way you really love me
I sometimes walk back through the woods
Thinking of all the things that should have been
Thinking how I want that love to come again
Wishing I could get my self back again
But I sleep knowing the pain is real
And in the end, this is how I feel.
