What do you really see?

I tried to weep

But all that screamed was silence

My back was empty, yet felt anything but

Your eyes stared into me

Looking around every corner trying to understand

But I turned my head before you reached my center

And my craning head faced a window

It was raining

Involuntarily my mind began to tilt and my body followed

You spoke louder, on the urge of screaming but not quite

The anger you sent out caused my face to echo toward you again

You said you loved me as your tears crashed against our unstable ground

Or our soon-to-be grave

And you stared into my eyes stronger this time

You repeated, "I love you, I love you, I love you"

But my irises were reflecting someone else's weren't they?
