Quarantine
I sit here and ponder all of the things I could be doing if i wasn’t in quarantine
I could be going out with friends on the city way to late at night
As we stand out of the car skylight touching the sky and the stars as the gentle wind blew through our hair
I could be seeing my family without being 6 feet apart and our faces engulfed in the cloth masks showing despair
Oh quarantine why must you be so hard?
For the people we love are so far apart
All though people are still passing so we must continue
But I can still imagine the life past the window view
As we stay in our homes bored of our minds
I'm writing this poem to help stay alive.
