Lingering a while to be summoned in,
Everyone ‘round me sinking it in
Was it about the year-long glitch
Or am I just in a pit black pitch
Pep talk wasn’t the impaired card
Nor it was the heart that barred
How long gonna this petrichor last?
Till the storm swayed it past,
The future wince, glazing my spine
Yet the now flinched it a whine,
They say you scheme the way
They say all kick of untold
The all’s and you’s were never me
A finish line short in track is all I see
