Broken
With my heart beating out of my chest
I never thought I’d end up here
I know what I have to confess
How could I let you get this near
I gave you feast
While you gave me a crumb
You gave me the least
And made me so numb
I tried to make you so happy
Even though you didn’t care
You were always so snappy
I could never find you anywhere
I knew you were wrong
but I never did care
We never got along
You hated the way I did my hair
But now you have left
I’m no longer sad
you committed so much theft
My heart no longer feels bad
