The death of a flower,

Is petals so tall,

Its beauty not grasped,

Its wilting petals fall

Taken from its home

A a decorative ornament

It’s purpose unknown,

But its beauty unbent

The death of a flower

Can you hear it scream out?

As its life slowly fades

It levels with doubt

It’s served its purpose

So its life no more

The death of a flower

Now a wilting corpse
