Dance
You pull me close
In the middle of the night
Where anything goes
We already had a fight
Who knows?
Maybe you’re my light
Awkward at first
But then everything bursts
I look at you and smile
Your eyes bore into mine
I haven’t seen that look in a while
You pull me closer,
And your hands get lower
This may be our last dance
But it isn’t yet over
Enjoying this moment
This dance in October.
