Because your heart feels a certain way
let me explain ,if I may?
Now you threw the sparks that lit our flame,
a fire not very tame,
but when no one else could get me down from the sky,
you brought me tumbling apoun the floor,
you are the first of this im sure,
you hold a heart that’s solely yours,
figuratively, ofcourse
and I show no remorse
cuts in paper
They can go awful deep
kind of like my heart that you keep
but can I snitch a buried secret?
you wrote a novel in my head
from words that you once said
permant ink cant be erased
just like no one can ever take your place
a tear I may have shed
was only because you never left my head
But may I post a confession?
I never wished for a departure
Your absence never felt quite right
Your missed during my days as you fade
Now temptations that no longer cross my mind
