Happiness remains
In the sky, after it rains
Sunlight, brightened in yellow
Paints a tone so mellow
Light blue dances
As it skips across the sky; prances
Whitened clouds thicken
So as not to sicken
The air, pleasant and lightly blowing
No longer snowing
Browned fur surfaces across my hand
A dog, whose scurrying paws stop to land
Orange-yellow fire glows
Inside a fireplace; ashes it sows
Purifying like cleansers
Crackling, twitching like sensors
Writing, whose inky words I tap
Against the computer on my lap
Cooking, sweet, strong aroma of spices
My fingers stirring the pot with rices
Baking, carefully molding
Cookie dough into rounded shapes; fingers holding
The scents of chocolate, pumpkin, cinamon
No ingrediants are limited
I rub smears
Across a coloring book; of colorful cures
Against a black-and-white world
Of blankness; dullness takes ahold
Tracing the black lines; blankness whitens
Boringness hightens
My heart beats rapid thumps
As I color in the lines; emerging like grass clumps
My happiness fills as I proceed with these activities
And smell the smells; viewing new possibilities!
