She Fell In Love With The Sky
Her and I walked down the block;
Hands intertwined like a lock.
Laughing together about the world;
Sun catching on her hair all curled.
Walking for God knows how long;
Listening to the wind's soft song.
At one point her head tilted up;
Wonder filled her eyes like a cup.
It wasn't anything special, just blue;
But maybe there was something she knew.
And though I really don't know why;
She fell in love with the sky
