The Ghouls
Every day and night, every year
We itch for our chance to induce fear
Waiting, hiding behind every door
Preparing to tear through your floor
Ghoulish smiles to give you a fright
To terrify is our greatest delight
We make all door hinges creak
We haunt you until you shriek
Don’t hide or close your eyes
To run away would be unwise
We will taunt, haunt, and scare
But remember, you must not to stare
If you don’t run when you’ve been creeped
Your soul might just be reaped
So stay away from my home, my tomb
Unless you desire to seal your doom.
