End Of The Road?
I have held on to this love for too long,
It got old like a bad song,
You say I love you to my face,
But when we are apart you act like I’m a disgrace,
I don’t know what you want anymore,
Every time we talk I ask who is it really for,
Why do we talk so long and it gets us nowhere,
The way you talk and act you seem like you don’t even care,
If this is the end of our road just say so,
I’m tired of being pushed around so just let me know,
I will not walk away feeling the best,
I will be happy you told me so we could suffer less,
No matter what you will be in my heart and soul,
But honestly without you my life is like a black hole,
I have been trying everything I can,
To prove what you see is who I really am,
Honestly I think this is the end of the road,
The last thing I ask is why did it end so cold.
