Shame On
I am always one to aim
But when I see myself to blame,
I point my finger at humanity.
You find worth in what you make
But when you see it a mistake
You point your finger at humanity.
We’re human, allowed to sin,
We see not a fault from within,
We point our fingers at humanity.
Try these flaws, try who we are
We found perfection yet too far
We point our fingers at humanity.
No excuse seems more legit,
But how ours sins, they just won’t quit,
We point our fingers at humanity.
Wrong decisions, day to day,
As if that makes it all okay,
To point our fingers at humanity.
