Because I Could Not Stop to Love
Because I could not stop to love,
Love stopped me.
Making me feel happy, sad--
And tingly.
Love is always there for me
When I need him most,
With a box of chocolates, flowers--
And some tea.
Love is there when the day feels too long
He makes me smile
He plays me a song
He is unconditional and never changes.

I based this poem off of Emily Dickenson's “Because I could not stop for Death.” I took a poem about death, and made it more happier and about love.
