The Ticking Clock
The Ticking Clock
Tick, Tick, Tick
The clock chimed 8:46.
The ticking was stopped by the
Sound of metal ripping through glass.
The screams were silenced by smoke.
The clock chimed 10:28.
First tower hit was the last to fall
Nothing was left of the North.
Tick, Tick, Tick
The clock chimed 9:03.
The ripping sound of metal and glass
Was heard again.
Still wondering what is happening
The rescuers come into action.
The clock chimed 9:59.
Impact of the crash caused the
Building to crumble.
Many were lost in these impacts.
But the attacks were only
Half complete.
Tick, Tick, Tick
The clock chimed 9:37.
Hit on the west
The pentagon erupted into flames.
The clock chimed 10:50.
5 floors crashed into dust
But the flames were still
Burning hot.
Tick, Tick, Tick
The clock chimed 10:03.
Passengers saved others
Risking their own lives.
No government building
Was struck.
Just a field in Pennsylvania.
Before noon 4 planes crashed.
They hurt and killed many
But this was just the beginning
Of the war.
