Silent tears
People constantly ask you why?
Why do we not let out the silent tears we cry,
We hold it all in until we are ready to blow,
And eventually you just want to give up and let go,
When you finally open up and talk,
People don't want to listen so they just walk,
You feel crushed and let down,
So you just walk around with a frown,
You slowly just give up and close everyone out,
And then you break down and begin to pout,
You hold in your emotions because you are afraid,
You're so scared that someone will rain on you parade,
Everyone is afraid in their own shape or form,
And that is what causes us to feel hurt and torn,
When the real reason is you just don't want anyone to know,
You realize you're even afraid of your own shadow,
We just need to open up and let people inside,
That way we can eventually make up our own minds,
I'm sorry doesn't always fix your fears,
And that is why we cry these silent tears.
