Rearrange My Fragile Bones
It was beautiful the way he made me feel
Like nothing in the world could stop us
His demons danced with mine while
My fears flirted with his
Inside my heart, inside my mind, he stayed there and warmed my cheeks
The stars were bright the night when he reached into my damaged soul
He dug deep down and rearranged my fragile bones
When he was finished I took a shallow breath of the crisp summer air around us
And when I found the courage to open up my eyes
I found my rib cage had been taken apart and rebuilt, so his heart could live there too
