On the Roller Coaster
On the roller coaster,
coasting on a track;
tickling my belly,
throwing my arms up,
the wind through my hair,
screams and laughter,
on the roller coaster.
I feel free
on each ride I take.
They seem repetitive
but I don't care,
I want to ride more
to make me
feel free.
The suspense
gives me butterflies
as each new curve is a surprise
and each hill makes me giggle.
Through the air I fly
never wanting the
suspense to end.
