You Will Be Remembered
You were the one I always turn to when I was down,
But you're gone and it feels different that you're not around,
We definitely had our good and our bad days,
But somehow you always knew what to say,
I would give anything to have one more chance,
I wish I could see your face for one last glance,
I am constantly thinking of what we use to do,
And when I do I just get down and blue,
It hard to live the same without you here,
You were like my guardian who kept me safe from fear,
It hurts that you left without one last word,
I will never forget the painful words 'Have You Heard',
I am still asking myself why,
Why did you have to go into the sky,
It seems like I am left here all alone,
I just want you to be here so I can hear you on the phone,
They tell me to think of it as you're in a better place,
I try to but all I wish is I could see your face,
But I guess I have got to learn how to let go,
I just keep telling everyone one tell me it isn't so,
You're gone and life seems so rotten,
But just know you will never be forgotten,
