Good to Bad
Good to Bad
Today is going to be the best day ever.
Before I know it I’m out in the ocean on
a bright blue surfboard.
And then I’m up, I’m up,
I’m surfing!
The big waves roll and smash,
at first I am a little unbalanced,
but I find my balance soon enough,
and I stand strong having the time of my life.
Hawaii looks so beautiful from deep in the salty ocean,
but the moment is over way too soon…
Bang.
A large surfboard with an idiot as a driver,
crashes into,
My brother and I…
As if it’s in slo-mo,
I watch as Travis falls,
hard into the water and I,
know I’m next.
I fall. I fall into into the salty water.
Bang. Smash. Crash.
That idiot runs into
My face, smashing my skull.
My eye is burning, throbbing,
and it doesn’t seem to stop.
Ugh. It hurts.
It really hurts.
I emerge from the water,
from my thoughts, into reality.
I slowly reach up,
scared of what’s about to happen.
A big, fat throbbing ball of skin sits right under my eye.
Ouch.

I would like people to know that thimgs can change from good to bad very quickly, like how my amazing time surfing quickly led to a big, black eye. Don´t get to caught up in the moment, but have fun with it.
