My Shadow

I see her in the morning.
I see her in the day.
When I am in the sunshine
Is when she comes out to play.
But when I'm in the darkness
Is when she's out of sight.
She sleeps the same time I do.
She stays in bed at night.
She skips with me
when I jump rope.
She lends a helping hand.
My shadows always with me
and she is my best friend.
