There is a story I've been told
It takes silver and makes gold
Makes the cowards strong and bold
For no price could it be sold
There is a story that has been said
Read beside the children's bed
Brings hope and love to the dead
Only by the Storybook can it be read
There is a story that has been chanted
It stops men who have insanely ranted
By it many have been corrupted
The seed growing, it has been planted.
Storybook for the wise
Storybook for the children
Storybook from the skies
Storybook from the dead
Storybook only for my eyes
Amazing in its glory
Terrible in its tales
The storybook, hidden behind the mountain
Guarded by time
Ravaged by life...
...And death.
Meant for the poorest
Meant for the richest
Written by the forest
Written by the holiest
Read by the Storybook
Read by the Storybook's Storykeeper
There is a story I have said
It kills the live and brings the dead
Brings the dead and gone back to life
Now listen to me now
As I lay here, dying
Lying on my deathbed
'The story, with me, is dead.'
There once was a story told
It made my heart strong and bold
It made time itself fold
The story can never be told
Storybook for the wise
Storybook for the wrong
Storybook for the stupid
Storybook by the prong
Storybook by the mountains
Storybook by Mother Earth.
Storybook for the wise
Storybook for the children
Storybook from the skies
Storybook from the dead
Storybook only for my eyes
Amazing in its glory
Terrible in its tales
The storybook, hidden behind the mountain
Guarded by time
Ravaged by life and death.
Meant for the poorest
Meant for the richest
Written by the forest
Written by the holiest
Oh, StoryKeeper of old,
Guide me in the storybook
As I drown in its ink
Am crushed by the pages
Hold me high so I can win
So I can bring the Storybook to the next keeper
Let me hold the Storybook
Let me read its pages
Let it be shown to me
Let me find it
Let me read it
Needed by the children
Needed for the wise
Needed for me
For the Storybook
With all the human's sorry, bloody history
Hidden in its pages
Storybook come to me
Storybook be with me
Storybook meld with me
Storybook, be one with me!
The storybook's keeper
The Storybook's lies
The storybook's secrets
The storybook dies.
The pages from paper to water
Elsetime!
The storybook!
The keeper!
Storybook's Storykeeper!
There is a story I have been told
It makes silver turn gold
It makes cowards turn bold
Makes the brave face the cold
The story now can never be told
It began with once upon a time
Ended with happily ever after
But what about after ever after?
What about Elsetime?
For that is the secret of the storybook
Riddles and lies answered
Stories of princesses and princes
Stories of children and old ones
Stories of everyone on this earth
Storybook of Earth
Storybook of Water
Storybook of Sky
Storybook of Fire
Meant for all of us
Meant for all Humanity to read.

If you rate my work, please comment saying why the rating is what it is. I'm tired of getting 1s and 2s with no constructive criticism along with it. It's no good telling me my work sucks if you don't tell me why.
