What do some
Consider home
Is it where they live
Or where they're from?

Is it the very first place
You spent your life
Where you walked your first steps
And caused so much strife?

Is it where you spoke
For the first time ever
When your parents looked at you
And thought you so clever?

Is it possible for home
To be one place now
Then time rolls by
And it changes somehow?

Can home simply be
Where you lay your head
And dream sweet dreams
In the comfort of your bed?

Or is home more than that
Does it symbolize love?
Does it mean you are blessed
By the one up above?

Does home have to be
The structure of a building
Or for some could it be
The small box used for shielding

Home can be different
For everyone
For some there are rooms
And for others there are none

Favorite Quote:
"Be the change you want to see."

This is amazing!! We each have our own interpetation of "home", and I think you expressed that very well. Great job! I marked it as my favorite and rated it 5 stars. Keep Writing! Please read, rate, and comment on my poems! Thanks!
