Dark Shadows

well here i go again
with nothing to save me
im alone in my pain
stuck in the middle
of who i am
and who i want to be
about to lose everything
i've known
so i can become
another soul
what have i done?
i've regret laid buried here
and they can't see
my heart hides shadows
and i walk alone
no one to guide me
no one to take my hand
i try to save others
when i long to be saved
longing to become immortal
