A fiery, crimson-yellow tree in the late fall

Reflecting into the shiny, glassy pond

Where bright green lily pads float, covering the water as thoroughly as a blanket

Frogs hop on the lily pads, the thick, rough pink tongues shooting in and out.

Tongues catch flies with big, scary looming eyes,

Thankful for food.
