Life and Dreams
I see everyone growing around me.
Everyone else can smile.
I'm stuck here standing still,
And it'll be a while.
Reality is slipping from my grasp,
I can't tell the difference between life and dreams.
People wonder when I'll wake up.
They say I'm dead it seems.
I guess that would be ok,
For me to just die.
I really wouldn't care,
'Cause I've been living a lie.
But there's something to this life,
Some reason to live.
Just give me some time,
I'll learn to forgive.
