Highschool
You get judged by your clothes,
many say you should paint your toes.
Some girls run every night
just to keep their tummies tight.
You just want to be liked,
but they tell you to take a hike.
Makeup isn’t everything,
but girls are worried about getting a wedding ring.
Parents try to understand us,
and early on help us become a follower of Jesus.
You almost always feel stressed:
the past, present, and future make you restless.
That one boy will break your heart,
but you have to pick up the pieces to restart.
Girls don’t feel pretty enough;
bad experiences make you tough.
There is many tears of joy and sadness;
try your best to spread happiness.
Before you know it, it will be all said and done;
then you will miss everyone.
So make every moment count
before time runs out-
You only get four years!
