catch my eye
act all sly
but I know

it's my friend
the whole scene plays over in my head again
you approach me
and say hello
with your flirty little smile
you stay and talk awhile
when I finally feel a spark
you get to the point
the part I dread
makes me feel like I'm dead
you ask for my friend's number
says she's hot
and I
feeling lonely and rejected
pour my drink on you
and ask
what's wrong with me
